EPC executes the
following construction and installation tasks in support of any project.
- Reviews engineering designs for practicality and low-cost constructibility
- Advises the customer on the maximum practical use of common design
to achieve economies of scale
- Performs daily site management routines
- Coordinates individual subcontractor activities
- Inspects in-progress and completed work to ensure quality in accordance
with quality assurance standards and design specifications
- Identifies the bases of, and verifies the validity of, change order
requests and claims
- Performs subcontract administration
All site work is carried out under the supervision
of EPC representative. If the work scope is large and requires substantial
supervision, EPC site supervisors may report to area managers who,
in turn, report to the EPC head office.
